Grayling fishing in Dorset

The fame of the River Frome Grayling needs no great introduction.Other than possibly a quick reminder that this stunning chalk stream has produced more than its fair share of British rod caught records, the last of which was caught on a nymph while sight fishing in crystal clear water.

Here at the Dairy House our home beat has a population of rather special Grayling, including additional nomadic fish that on occasions wonder into the beat from elsewhere on the Frome, fish that you can only dream about.

We offer fly fishing only for these stunning “ladies of the stream” in totally wild conditions, not for the faint hearted.
You will possibly see huge Grayling, you may even get close to one, and if you slow right down, find patience you never thought possible, you could even catch one……
