Guiding and afternoon tea

After a seriously busy week working on various rivers in Dorset and Hampshire with our gang, today was set aside for a spot of guiding on our Home Beat, casting, water craft, entomology, lunch, fishing, afternoon tea and a little more fishing…. Come and fish with us at home or get a day ticket …

In search of Salmon

Tonight we headed to the lower Frome in search of Salmon, a stunning evening, but all we found was a Pike, some small Perch and a Trout, oh and Paul had a nasty encounter with a bunch of very un friendly Wasps…..

Electric fishing surveys

Last week we were busy carrying out post enhancement works fish population surveys, on several sites with the Dorset Wildlife Trust, and the Dorchester Fishing Club. It is a great feeling to know that the chalk stream restoration projects are working!

The fun of Fly Fishing

Despite the weather today our fly fishing party had a seriously great day today, fly fishing, good food, some stunning wines and lots of laughs…. A huge thank you to  Lost for words……
